ABOUT GILCHRIST COUNTY
Gilchrist County is Florida’s newest county, created in 1925 and named after the state’s governor from 1909 to 1913. Founded on timber, farming, and a railroad, this county now hosts a wide array of businesses, while staying true to its roots. The county covers a total of 355 square miles and includes 3 towns: Bell, Trenton, and Fanning Springs.
Since 1971 the Gilchrist County Chamber of Commerce has supported and celebrated businesses and commerce in its county, as well as welcoming businesses from surrounding counties to join, engage, and network.
